SECTIONS:

A: LOIS: take a brief tour; locate library books using the computer; learn Inter-Library Loan.
B: Databases: locate full-text magazine/journal/newspaper articles on the computer.
C: Online! Take a tutorial that covers best practices for searching the Internet. 
You must get permission from your instructor to take the online tutorial.

Frequently Asked Questions


Note:
A and B classes are 50 minutes long and take place in LR220. Session C is taken online at your own pace. Signup sheets are available in the red binder at the Reference Desk, on the second floor of the Library. Seating is limited, so please arrive on time. Seats that are vacant at 10 minutes past the hour will be forfeited. Questions?? Please phone the Reference Desk at 558-2461.

There is no limit to the attendance in the self-paced, online Internet C workshop.
 

Faculty: Students should sign up individually. Subject specific (topic driven) classes that you want your entire class to attend can be scheduled separately by submitting a Faculty Orientation Request.
