Panthers Claw From Behind To Beat CRC

Using the long ball, Sac City’s softball team erased an early four-run deficit to beat previously unbeaten Cosumnes River 9-8 in extra innings Saturday. Aaliyah Oliver was one of four Panthers with a home run, hers a towering three-run shot that tied the game at 7-7. Emily Murphy’s homer in the seventh inning tied the game again at 8-8 before Megan Anthony’s sacrifice fly won it in the bottom of the eighth.
