SCC Well Represented at A2MEND Conference

Students, employees and Interim President Michael Poindexter are all taking part in the the African American Male Educational Network and Development Conference in Los Angeles. Since 2008, A2MEND has placed a spotlight on the institutional challenges and barriers that exist within our colleges to produce positive educational outcomes for African American men. In those years, hundreds of people have had the opportunity to dialogue about the issues pertaining to the academic success of African American men in higher education.

Interim President Poindexter presented and facilitated a breakout session entitled: Minority Male Initiatives (MMIs): Structured Pathway to Success.
