Open Observatory on Oct. 7

If you have ever wanted to see some of the stars and planets in the night sky up close and personal, then Friday, Oct. 8 is your next chance.
Thanks to Astronomy Professor Liam McDaid, the Hulbe Observatory on top of Rodda Hall South will be open to the public beginning at 8 p.m. The large telescope inside the observatory will be set on the Moon, Neptune, M11 (Wild Duck Cluster), M31 (Andromeda Galaxy) and M13 (a Globular Cluster in Hercules).
The event is free of charge.
