Q: Parking - Where do I park? Do I have to pay?
A: Parking is first-come, first-served and a valid Los Rios/SCC parking pass is required. Parking passes may be purchased at the Davis Center main office. There is limited, free 2-hour parking on the streets surrounding the center, but please be aware of the numbered spots which are reserved for the nearby housing residents. For classes held at UC Davis, students can purchase UCD daily passes for $7. Street parking is available but NOT guaranteed. Public transit is recommended. All students are ultimately responsible for any parking violation fees.

Q: Can I see a counselor at the Davis Center?
A: Counseling is available by appointment, during most weekdays. To schedule an appointment, stop by the Davis Center front desk or call (530) 747-5200.

Q: What do I need to do before registering for classes?

Q: When may I register?
A: After completing an application (new and returning students) or a supplemental enrollment form (continuing students), you may check eServices for your enrollment appointment date.
Registration is divided between Priority 1, Priority 2, Priority 3, Priority 4, and Open Registration. Click here for the enrollment period dates. NOTE: Students are assigned an appointment date and time within their priority registration period. Students may not register prior to their appointment date & time.

Q: How do I complete the supplemental application?
A: The supplemental form is found on your eServices.  

Q: How do I find my student ID number?
A: Click Here (you will need your Social Security Number and Date of Birth)

Q: Where can I get a copy of my unofficial transcript?
A: Students can access their grades and unofficial transcript on eServices

Q: What if I do not know my eServices password?
A: The front desk at the Davis Center can reset students' passwords. Students are required to present picture Identification (driver's license, student ID, passport, etc.)

Q: Where can I take the placement test?
A: Assessment testing is offered at the Davis Center during limited times (check HERE). Testing is available on a regular basis at the SCC Assessment Center Check with the front desk for Assessment dates at the Davis Center.

Q: How do I apply for financial aid?
A: Students may apply for the Board Of Governor's Waiver via the SCC Financial Aid office website. It is best to contact the SCC Financial Aid office for more information.

Q: Where may I purchase and return class textbooks?
A: Students may purchase books in-person or online through the SCC College Store During the first two weeks of the semester, the SCC College store will also sell textbooks at the Davis Center. Check our Student Services website for times and dates. NOTE: ALL returns must be made at the main campus College Store in Sacramento. Buyback will be available at the Davis Center during the week of finals.

Q: May High School students take classes while still in High school?
A: Students over the age of 16 (or have completed the 10th grade), and possess a GPA of 2.7 or above may apply for the Advanced Education Program. Click here for more information

Q: How can I get a hold of a professor?
A: Your instructor will provide contact information with their course information sheet (syllabus). Some instructors are also listed in the online staff directory

Q: How can I get access to the Clery Act Crime Log?
A: The Los Rios Police Department publishes the crime log, which can be found online, at the LRPD's crime log website. For the City of Davis Police Department report, please visit their activity log website.
