Motor Vehicle Parking Permits-Parking of motor vehicle on campus is by permit only and only in the structure and the north, south west lots. Semester permits may be purchased at the Business Office or online for $30 ($20 for students with BOG fee waiver), and $15 during the summer session. Daily permits can be purchased for $1 from any of the machines located within the student parking area. Permits are valid in the student parking areas, which are marked by white curbing and striping. Faculty and staff parking are marked with yellow curbing and striping. The semester permit may be affixed to the lower passenger's side corner of the windshield or students may purchase a holder from the College Store to affix the permit and display it from the rear view mirror. Daily permits must be displayed on the passenger's side of the dash, opposite side of VIN. The permit numbers and date (if printed) must be visible. Daily permits from other Los Rios Community College District campuses (ARC, CRC, FLC) are NOT valid at SCC. Semester permits from those campuses are accepted. All permits must be visible in order to be valid. Motor vehicles without proper permits will be cited.

The Child Development Center-The Child Development Center has parking north of the CDC in the west parking lot. These spaces are for pickup and drop off for a maximum of 20 minutes.

Bicycles, Skateboards, Motorized Scooters-Bicycles, skateboards, and motorized scooters may be ridden on the roads and in the parking lots for the purpose of transportation to and from the campus only. They are not to be ridden on the sidewalks, walkways or any inner campus areas and buildings. Bicycles must be locked to a bicycle rack or stored in a bicycle locker. Bicycles and skateboards are NOT permitted in the parking structure.

Enforcement-Permit Parking is enforced Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. when classes are in session. All red zones (no parking), green zones (limited time parking), and blue zones (handicapped), are enforced 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
