Counseling: Counseling appointments are available on:
Tuesday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Wednesday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Counselors are also available some Mondays and Saturdays. Check in at the main office to make an appointment.
Payment for Classes: Please note: For your convenience, the office accepts cash, MasterCard, VISA, personal check, or cashiers check for payment of enrollment fees. You may also pay online with a VISA or MasterCard.
Textbooks: Textbooks will be sold at the West Sacramento Center during the first two weeks of the semester (january 14-January 27) during the open office hours. Students who do not purchase books at this time will have to purchase them at the College Store on the main Sacramento City College campus.
Please make checks payable to: College Store. A valid California Driver’s License and two telephone numbers are required. The College Store will accept cash for payment of books. Textbook prices are available on the web by clicking College Store/Bookstore on the SCC home page at www.scc.losrios.edu. The center staff can not process refunds. You must go to the main campus Bookstore for this transaction.
Scantrons & Blue/Green Books: Various student supplies will be available at the West Sacramento Center Bookstore. Please inquire at main office.
*** IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
PREREQUISITES - For Students Enrolling in STATISTICS:
Students enrolling in Statistics (STAT 300) must have their prerequisite course verified prior to enrollment in the class.
- If you earned a "C" or better in one of the prerequisite classes for STAT 300 from a Los Rios college, or if you assessed into STAT 300 by taking the Los Rios assessment test, you can enroll in the class without providing any additional information.
- If you earned a "C" or better in one of the prerequisite classes from a UC, CSU or a Califonia Community College outside of Los Rios, you must bring your transcripts to Admissions & Records or the Davis Center or the West Sacramento Center for further assistance.
- If you earned a "C" or better in one of the prerquisite classes from a private or out-of-state school, you must bring your transcripts to the Math, Science & Engineering Division (SCC Main Campus, South Gym 220), for further assistance.
