The application period for Fall 2013 has expired.  For the ADN Program only we will be selecting for both  the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 classes.  All nursing applicants will be sent a  notice regarding their status in 4 to 6 weeks to their Los Rios Gmail .  Do not call or email the Nursing Department or the Science & Allied Division office regarding your status until after the 6 weeks.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT FOR VOCATIONAL NURSING PROGRAM

 The Sacramento City College Vocational Nursing Program will be implementing a new multi-criteria screening process effective spring 2014. Students will earn points according to a number of parameters including GPA, assessment test scores (TEAS 5), and life/work experience. Until 2017, up to 5 points can be earned for the number of times previously applied to the program. The student must achieve a designated number of points on the multi-criteria worksheet in order to apply to the program.  Further information regarding the new enrollment process and testing information will be posted on the nursing website. The program reserves the right to make changes in the enrollment criteria, academic requirements, grading standards and other processes without notice at any time.
