Albert Garcia
Albert Garcia has served as Dean of the Language and Literature Division at Sacramento City College for the last five years, including eight months as the Interim Vice President of Instruction. Previously Albert was an English Professor at SCC for thirteen years, including two terms as English Department Chair. Prior to his service at SCC, Albert was an English Professor at College of the Sequoias, where he also served as English Department Chair. Albert has earned a Masters of Fine Arts, Creative Writing-Poetry, from the University of Montana, and a B.A. in English with a minor in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.


Debra Luff
Debra Luff has served as Dean of the Downtown and West Sacramento Outreach Centers with Sacramento City College for the last seven years, including four months as the Interim Vice President for Student Services and Enrollment Management at Cosumnes River College. Debra also served as Interim Dean of the Advanced Technology Division at SCC for eleven months. Prior positions include Associate Director of Admissions and Records at CSU Sacramento, Outreach Counselor and Transfer Advisor at CSU Sacramento, and Dean of Instruction/Acting Director (CEO) at Heald College. Debra has earned an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration and Foundations from the University of the Pacific, M.S. in Higher/Post-secondary Education from Syracuse University, B.S. in Physical Education, and an A.S. in Math/Science.


Mary Turner
Mary Turner has served as Dean of the Science and Allied Health Division at Sacramento City College for the last seven years. Prior to this Mary was Dean of the Allied Health Division at SCC for two years, including serving as Interim Dean for the Math, Science and Engineering Division for five months. Previously Mary was a Dental Health Professor with SCC for fourteen years, including service as Acting Director, Dental Health Department. Her experience prior to SCC includes fifteen years as a Dental Instructor, Community Services. Mary has earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Argosy University, M.S. in Dental Hygiene Education from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, B.S. in Dental-Hygiene, and an A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene.


Karen Walters Dunlap
Karen Walters Dunlap has served as Vice President of Instruction at Modesto Junior College for the last two years. Previously Karen was Dean of the Sciences and Mathematics Division at Sierra College for five years, and also served as Interim Associate Dean and Interim Dean of that same division for approximately one year. Before becoming a Dean, Karen was a Chemistry Professor at Sierra College for five years and previous to that served as an Adjunct Chemistry Professor for four years, teaching classes at American River College, Sierra College and Yuba College. Karen has earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Sonoma State University.
