Upper Division Transfer Admission Requirements
Beginning Fall 2005
For students who have completed 56 or more transferable semester units (84 quarter units) of college or university work:
(Beginning for fall 2005, upper division transfers will be required to complete 60 units of transferable courses before transfer.)
You must have at least a 2.00 grade point average (2.4 for non-residents) on all college or university units attempted and be in good standing at the last college or university attended
ANDYou must have completed 30 semester units of courses equivalent to general education requirements including the following four courses with grades of " C- " or better:
- A course which meets the General Education requirement in Written Communication (ENGL 1A at CSUS)
- A course which meets the General Education requirement in Oral Communication
- A course which meets the General Education requirement in Critical Thinking
- A course which meets the General Education requirement in Math that is above the level of intermediate algebra
FOR ALL
All admission requirements i.e. units, grade point average, and specific courses must be completed prior to the "summer" semester before a fall enrollment and before the "fall" semester for a spring enrollment for both high school and transfer applicants.
