You apply for financial aid by submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The Cal-Grant requires a submitted FAFSA, the GPA verification form and/or supplemental application. The GPA verification form is completed by the Admissions and Records Office or your high school, depending on the number of college units you have completed. Sacramento City College sends your GPA electronically to the Student Aid Commission for Cal-Grant consideration if you have taken all of your classes in the District. Students who have college course work from other colleges, must have their GPA form completed by the Admissions and Records Office.
The Board of Governor's Fee Waiver application, which waives your enrollment fees, can be completed online at www.scc.losrios.edu/financial-aid
