SCC staff looks forward to providing you with support and assistance as you strive to achieve your goals at Sacramento City College. SCC's programs and services are designed to help you get the most from your educational experience. General information and college orientation sessions for first-time college students are held on campus prior to the start of classes each semester.

Orientation agenda
- Receive information about degrees, majors and requirements
- Tour the college campus
- Learn about resources and registration, and design your Student Educational Plan
- Participate in individual course advisement
The orientation process starts you off on the right path. During the first semester, you are strongly urged to make an appointment with a counselor, who will help you explore your educational goals and learn how to reach them.
