Dear Supporter of Los Rios Students,
This year's ceremony will recognize the success of Chicana/o and Latina/o students from American River College, Cosumnes River College, Folsom Lake College, and Sacramento City College. The ceremony, Honrando a Nuestros Estudiantes, Honoring Our Students for Academic Success, will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Folsom Lake College Three Stages from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. We will have an opportunity to celebrate with our families- parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters- the graduation and/or transfer of our students from one of California's great community college districts, the Los Rios Community College District!
We need your help to produce a quality recognition ceremony and to honor the hard work, dedication, and discipline of our students. We have set a fundraising goal of $10,000.00. The CLRCC is committed to organizing an exciting event with increasing student participation each year. But we must have your help. All contributors will be highlighted in this year's program.
Please help us by sending a contribution by April 30, 2012. Your gift will make a significant difference and will be used to cover expenses associated with the ceremony (e.g., speakers, sashes, entertainment, and food/refreshments). Please check one of the sponsorship levels below and provide an amount*:
$_____ SOL (Sun) sponsors will receive in addition to the below levels, one-half page advertisement in the Recognition Event Program and business/name on event banner. $500 +
$______ LUNA (Moon) sponsors will receive in addition to the below levels, one-quarter page advertisement in the Recognition Program. $300-$499
$______ ESTRELLA (Star) sponsors will receive in addition to the below levels, a "Certificate of Recognition" at the CLRCC event. $200-$299
$______ CORAZON (Heart) sponsors will receive in addition to the below level, ribbons to wear on our graduation night designating you as a sponsor for this event. $100-$199
$______ MANO (Hand) sponsors' names will be included in a special listing in the CLGRC web site. $25-$99
OTHER - In Kind Contribution (i.e. food, drinks etc.)
