A day long campus-wide welcome to new and returning students generally held on the quad. Check out SCC programs and services, enjoy free entertainment, and partake in the lunch-time barbeque.
Constitution Day, September 15th, 2011
This day has been recognized by all institutions of higher education to promote awareness on the United States Constitution. Public Law 108-447 was signed into law by President George Bush designating September 17th as Constitution Day.
Fall Club Day, September 22nd, 2011

Arts & Crafts Faire, October 11th - 13th, 2011
The Arts & Crafts Faire brings in vendors to SCC from all over the region to offer their goods at reasonable prices. Whether you're buying for yourself or someone else, enjoy the great bargains, food, and entertainment during this 3-day event.

Student Elections, February - April, 2012
Sacramento City College and the Los Rios Community College District (LRCCD) hold student elections for SCC Student Associated Cuncil (SAC) positions and the LRCCD Student Trustee. Election information will be available starting February 28th, petitions to run for a position will be due March 20th, and the elections will be on April 17th - 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the LRC lobby. Consider getting involved in student government by running for a position. At minimum, make sure you vote and have your voice be heard.
People's Day, May 3rd, 2012
This is a day long campus-wide event for the campus community to come together in celebration of another year gone by. Come out to the SCC quad area to experience our student talent and other entertainment throughout the day. While you're there, shop at vendor booths and enjoy the food.
Commencement Reception, May 16th, 2012
After the Commencement Ceremony, join family and friends at a reception honoring all graduates. Enjoy free refreshments and entertainment, and take advantage of photo opportunities.
