Graphic Impressions is located in the Reprographics building, 558-2168. Graphic Impressions provides web and print design, prepress, printing and bindery services to the campus, including programs, invitations, catalogs, schedules, guides, brochures, fliers, business cards (paid for by department budget code or personal check), letterhead, posters, and manuals. This office helps staff from concept to delivery, including recommending paper stock and colors, ink colors, type faces and styles, clip art and photos. Through the use of on-campus printing and low-cost blanket contracts with area vendors, Graphic Impressions can take digital files to print and save you up to 40% of market printing costs. Clients always receive a cost estimate, whether the job is printed on campus or outsourced. The design/production fee is $35/hour, which pays for supplies, salaries and equipment, as Graphic Impressions is a cost-covering operation. Graphic Impressions also designs the institutional pages of the campus's Web site and will design PowerPoint presentations for a fee.

Staff should submit word-processed copy on disk or via e-mail, along with hard copy. Copy should not have two spaces between sentences (one space only) and tabs should not be used to indent paragraphs. If data entry is required, there is a $35/hour charge.

Graphic Impressions can scan black and white and color photographs to be used in publications. If electronic, images should be saved as TIFF files, 300 dpi at the final size needed. Graphic Impressions also has the ability to take digital pictures.

Graphic Impressions can make one- and two-sided color laser prints/copies at 70¢ per letter size impression from original artwork or digital files.

Graphic Impressions will design and print all certificates that require the president's signature.

Publications should use college colors, which are burgundy (PMS 201) and gold metallic (PMS 872). Gold (PMS 116) may be substituted if metallic is not available. Graphic Impressions will provide an electronic file of logo, mascot, and seal via e-mail or disk. These should not be re-drawn or modified in any way except size.
