Sacramento City College cityADVANTAGE are written by the Public Information Office. The district designs a four-color insert that is mailed in the SCC, ARC, CRC, and FLC TABs. cityADVANTAGE are produced prior to fall, spring and summer semesters and mailed to zip codes within our service area in December, May and July. We mail more than 300,000 copies directly to homes in Sacramento, West Sacramento, and Davis and deliver to selected areas. Additional cityADVANTAGEs are printed and stored in the public information office to be used for outreach and recruitment purposes.

Before articles are assigned to students, staff are asked to submit story ideas. This is also a great opportunity to request an ad at no charge. Ads are all the same size and must have a contact number. If an ad is scheduled to go out when the campus is closed, (the spring cityADVANTAGE mails during Winter Recess), the contact person should monitor and respond to voicemail.
