New Student Fridays

High School Counselors or Teachers
Please Call (916) 558-2068 to Schedule Special Day Activities

The "New Student Fridays" are designed so that students can complete  the "Getting-In" process in ONE DAY. We have sequenced the various matriculation components on this day to ensure students can complete the entire process. Learn about declaring a major, transfer opportunities, financial services, and special programs offered at Sacramento City College during Orientation; then transition to the assessment center to complete your placement test and start your course preparation; finally, meet with a counselor to discuss your class schedule and get off to a fresh start before the semester begins. Attending a New Student Friday makes the "Getting-In" process simple. See below for a list of dates and times.

Click on one link below to schedule an appointment. Do Not Schedule Yourself in More than One Orientation Appointment. Once you submit your application you are immediately scheduled for that appointment.

If you schedule more then one appointment all appointments will be cancelled.

Please be sure to show up 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Meet at the Registration/Financial Aid Lab in Business 153 with your photo ID and a Sacramento City College student ID number (which you should receive via email after submitting an online application). Late arrivals will NOT be admitted.
