Cosmetology Services
Welcome to the Cosmetology Services web page of the Sacramento City College Cosmetology Department. The Cosmetology Department offers services to the public as well as faculty, staff, and students of SCC. These services are offered at such a reduced rate because they are part of the education of SCC cosmetology students. All work is done by STUDENTS ONLY, under the supervision of an instructor.
If our prices are still too expensive, the Cosmetology Department periodically holds Free Hair Cut Days.

We Accept CASH ONLY For All Services
Prices for the above are single applications only--additional product extra
Shampoo and sets are complimentary with all hair color application except rinses and tint removal. Special styles (updos etc.) are extra.
Hair cuts and styles are complimentary with all perms. If they are not given the day of the wave, a credit slip may be issued that is good for only one week after the date of the perm. Spot perms are .50 per rod plus any haircut, style or conditioner.
Relaxers include a style, haircut and conditioner. If they are not given the day of the service, a credit slip may be issued that is good for only one week after the date of the relaxer.
ALL WORK IS DONE BY STUDENTS ONLY, UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF AN INSTRUCTOR
WE DO ALL SERVICES ON TUESDAYS THROUGH FRIDAYS. OUR APPOINTMENT DESK IS CLOSED ON MONDAYS
We are not able to give cash refunds. Credit slips for the amount of the services are given, but you must bring it in the day of your next service. We encourage you comments on our services. Please pick up a comment card at our front desk.
* Senior Citizen qualifying age is 60----SCC Staff must present a current Courtesy Card and ID.
If a service is not listed, it may not be a service offered to clients--check with an instructor before pay for, or allow a student to start the procedure on you. Students are not allowed to do services that are not collected for at our cash register. You must pay for all services here, even when using your own products.
