Here are the required admissions steps you must take to get the classes you need. All new students will need to complete the online orientation, assessment, and counseling steps to retain priority enrollment.
If you are a new or returning student to Los Rios, you must complete and submit an application before registering for classes. You only need to submit an application for one college to be able to enroll in classes at any four campuses in the district.
Online orientation allows you to learn about financial aid, registration, tutoring services, important locations on campus, types of degrees, and more, helping you adjust to your new college.
The assessment testing process helps you choose courses at the right level for you, making sure you don’t end up with coursework that is too difficult or taking classes below your skill levels.
An education plan, which you will develop with a counselor, helps you identify the courses required to complete your goals and the best order to take them. This process will help you determine the amount of time and money needed to invest in your education and take the most direct route from start to finish.
To be sure to get the classes you want, register for classes during your enrollment appointment. You are able to register for classes online or in person on campus.
