The Art & Art History Department at Sacramento City College prides itself in offering one of the finest creative programs in Northern California.
A staff of professionals practicing fine arts, crafts and art history teach a broad range of basic and advanced art courses involving both theory and practice of fine and applied art and the history of art.
Art majors as well as non-art majors have the opportunity to study and work under the guidance of established artists-instructors. Art history students have the opportunity to study the history of art from prehistoric times through the present. The department welcomes all students to apply and develop their creative interests.

Studio Arts for Transfer
