The mission of the Writing Center is to help all SCC students become more effective, confident, and independent writers by providing assistance with writing in courses across the disciplines.  In support of this mission, the Writing Center provides individual tutoring sessions for students, workshops for students and faculty, consultations for faculty, and the opportunity for qualified students to gain experience as peer tutors.
