Discover UC Davis is a free transfer-planning event at the UC Davis campus that includes:

  • Continental breakfast and lunch
  • Student-led campus walking tours
  • Information on selecting a major that relates to your future career
  • Panel discussion with current transfer students and alumni
  • Information about undergraduate research, financial aid, transfer student services, studying abroad and preparing for a career or graduate program

It’s time for our annual Davis Center Toy Drive! Help us make a difference this Holiday Season by donating new, unopened toys. The collection bin will be in the main lobby until December 12th.

Toys will be delivered to the Toys-For-Tots foundation and then redistributed to the less fortunate children of the community.

Textbooks can be bought online and picked up at the Davis Center for no extra cost during business hours.

After placing the order, it will take at least three (3) days before your order will be ready for pickup.

To pickup your order, you will need to have a valid photo ID and your receipt.

Summer 2014 Hours:

June 16-19: 10am-6pm
June 23-26: 10am-6pm

If you’re thinking about attending UC Davis, you should make an appointment to meet with our UCD transfer advisor.  Whether you’re signing a Transfer Agreement or not, Pamela can help with the application process and various admissions questions.  Appointments are available on September 11th and November 13th so call us now!

To help prepare you for the semester, we’ve put together this event to offer you an opportunity to learn more about our center and the services we offer. You will also be able to meet other students and our staff, tour the center, get your student ID card and purchase parking passes.

Fix50 Highway Project

If you’re from the Sacramento area and attend the Davis Center, the major construction project on Highway 50 near downtown Sacramento may seriously affect your commute.  The project is on it’s last phase and you can see the details below. For more information, please visit fix50.com.

Westbound Highway 50:

During Westbound, Phase 2, the following ramps will be closed:

– 16th Street Off-Ramp
– Connector ramp from westbound Business 80 to westbound Highway 50
– Only one lane will be open on the Connector ramp from northbound Highway 99 to westbound Highway 50.

  • 2-3 through lanes will be open
  • Eastbound traffic will be fully open as normal with no impact

Career Center

Representatives from Sacramento City College’s Career Center are here weekly and provide great resources.  You can get help with career research and exploration, job search and find out about internships and Work Experience programs. They can also help you fix up your resume and cover letter, sharpen your interview skills and even help with job search.

Don’t hesitate to stop by during the fall semester!

  • Mondays: 12:30pm-3:30pm
  • Thursdays: 9:30am-12:30pm

They meet at the desk at the first floor of the Davis Center and you can stop by or make an appointment.
