May Is Bike Month

May Is Bike Month in the greater Sacramento region (including El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba Counties). The program started in 2005 with the goal of promoting cycling in the area. This year the goal is to have participants pledge and ride 2 million miles during the month of May!

  • The Clubs and Events Board and Student Senate will have members in attendance. Campus Life Activities, Student Clubs, and departmental resources information will also be offered.
  • The Cultural Awareness Center will provide live music from 11am – 1pm

Representatives from Sacramento City College’s Career Center are here weekly and provide great resources.  You can get help with career research and exploration, job search and find out about internships and Work Experience programs. They can also help you fix up your resume and cover letter, sharpen your interview skills and even help with job search.

Don’t hesitate to stop by during the spring semester (first visit will be February 4th)!

Toy Drive

Toy Drive!

It’s time for our annual Davis Center Toy Drive! Help us make a difference this Holiday Season by donating new, unopened toys. The collection bin will be in the main lobby until December 12th.

Toys will be delivered to the Toys-For-Tots foundation and then redistributed to the less fortunate children of the community.
