The launch of the “Come Walk With Me” activity began February 11, 2014 and will be on each Tuesday and Thursday from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM. We will hopefully maintain momentum throughout the Spring 2014 semester. Plan to meet at Hughes Stadium at the south entrance to the track at 11:45 AM. We will start with a few stretches before a 20-minute self-paced walk. Water will be available so no need to bring this with you.
Health experts say, “The faster, farther and more frequently you walk, the greater the benefits.” Start the new year with a good habit. And while walking together, we will build new connections while improving our health one step at a time.
