Annette D’Armata, ND is a licensed naturopathic physician in the states of Arizona and Alaska. She graduated with honors from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences, where she also taught neuroanatomy lab. In addition to receiving the highest level of training available in the integration of conventional and natural medicine, she elected to receive advanced clinical training in the integrative treatment of mental illness and volunteered for multiple rotations at free clinics inside a domestic violence shelter and an elementary school. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. D’Armata completed an internal medicine internship at Hospital San Martin in Oaxaca and at General Regional Hospital No. 25 in Mexico City. She completed a post-doctoral residency in naturopathic internal medicine in Fairbanks, Alaska in 2010 and opened a successful, multi-practitioner clinic there. In 2013, she opened a second office in Tempe, Arizona.
Dr. D’Armata travels to see patients at both offices, uses telemedicine, and provides case review, research and education for patients and practitioners all over the world. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. (OncANP). Dr. D’Armata is on the editorial board for the International Journal of Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine and is a past board member of Naturopaths Without Borders.
