Dr. Lisa Shender is a post-doc veterinarian working at the UC Davis Veterinary School as part of the “One Health” program. On March 3, she will come to our Bio 342 New Plagues class (1:00pm-2:20pm at the West Sac Center room 214) to give a talk on  2 infectious diseases she has/is researching, Leishmaniasis and Chagas’ Disease.

New Faculty Spring Series (Part 3 of 4 – Student Success)

Meeting 3: “Student Success”, Friday, March 13, 1-3 p.m. This will include a student panel of graduates who have successfully transferred to local institutions, (UC Davis, et.al.), which provide the opportunity to potentially enhance teaching and learning as it connects with instructional strategies and student outcomes.
