Constitution Day

This day has been recognized by all institutions of higher education to promote awareness on the United States Constitution. Public Law 108-447 was signed into law by President George Bush designating September 17th as Constitution Day.

Student Elections

March – April, 2017

Sacramento City College and the Los Rios Community College District (LRCCD) hold student elections for SCC Student Associated Cuncil (SAC) positions and the LRCCD Student Trustee. Election information will be available starting February 21st,  petitions to run for a position will be due March 14th, and the elections will be held April 4th – 5th from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on via eServices. Consider getting involved in student government by running for a position. At minimum, make sure you vote and have your voice be heard.

Earth Week in the Quad

10am-3pm

We expect over 1,000 people to attend Earth Week. We hope you can celebrate Earth Week with us too! There will be a variety of activities in the quad from 10am-3pm on April 18 and 19, 2017.

People’s Day

This is a day long campus-wide event for the campus community to come together in celebration of another year gone by. Come out to the SCC quad area to experience our student talent and other entertainment throughout the day. While you’re there, shop at vendor booths and enjoy the food.
