We would like to personally invite you to attend one of the informational sessions. We will review the program, answer questions and students can pick up applications.

NCSAC & AIFS Partnership

The Northern California Study Abroad Consortium (of which the Los Rios Community College District is a member) enables us to teach our academic program abroad, using our faculty, curriculum and style. The American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) Partnership works closely with us to coordinate support arrangements.

Study Abroad Contacts

Study Abroad is a wonderful opportunity to explore another culture in the safest possible situation. The rewards to students are life-long and include the opportunity to acquire a level of global competence recommended by the United States Congress and valued by transfer institutions and employers.



Semester Term

  • Take classes from community college professors.
  • Enroll in the Sacramento City College Life and Culture class (3 units) and at least one other Sacramento City College class being offered through the program (3 units).
  • Take 2 additional classes (total 6 units) from those offered by the partner colleges.
  • All classes are transfer eligible and many fulfill GE requirement.

Summer Term

  • Take classes from community college professors.
