We invite high school seniors transitioning into Sacramento City College to participate in an opportunity that will develop skills and offer information that will help them become successful in their first-year of college!
As a Summer Success Academy participant YOU get the opportunity to:
- Meet new friend!!
- Earn college credits!!
- Get a head start on college!!
- Participate in activities that will develop YOUR leadership skills
* Students who do not qualify for BOG Fee Waiver and FAFSA will have to pay $108.
Students that are selected to participate will be required to attend courses from

We will have four (4) Summer Success Academy information sessions for you to choose from. You will only need to attend ONE.
This meeting is MANDATORY for all students who would like to attend the summer program. We will be reviewing the class that will be offered, activities you will be participating in, and answer any questions you may have regarding the Summer Success Academy.

5) Counseling/Advising - Counselors will give you important information on how to choose classes and assist you in completing your 1st semester Education Plan. All new students need to participate in this workshop before they can meet with a counselor one-on-one. You can sign-up for this workshop at the same time you schedule your orientation.
