CAREER CENTER!

The Career Center at Sacramento City College is for students who are exploring new careers, want to build on their current career, or need help matching their major to a career.  This is all part of the career development process.  Career Services provides resource materials, guidance, workshops, computerized assessments and information to help students explore viable career opportunities.

The Career Center also provides assistance with Job Services.  Students can learn about on and off campus employment opportunities and guidelines on how and where to search for jobs that best meet their qualifications.  Job applications are available for certain positions, including on-campus student help and the California State application STD 678.  Click on the Job Services link for more information on student jobs and websites for job exploration.

The Career Center partners with several other student services departments including Counseling, the Disability Resource Center, the Workability Program, and Cooperative Work Experience Education & Internships to help you transition from the classroom to your chosen career.
