What We Offer

The Work Experience Program offers 1-4 unit academic classes to anybody who works (part-time or full-time), who serves in an internship, or who is a volunteer.

When you take a Work Experience (WEXP) class, you get the following perks:

  • You can earn 1-4 units of (transferable) academic credit;
  • Work Experience classes count either as living skills classes or as electives towards graduation;
  • WEXP classes count toward financial aid units or veterans' units (if you take WEXP 498);
  • Work Experience classes are user friendly classes for working professionals coming back to college.
  •  All assignments are workplaced-based;
  • Finally, Work Experience classes are online or face to face.
