7800 INSTRUCTIONAL COMPUTER USE
The District owns and operates a variety of computer systems and related equipment intended for instructional purposes. For purposes of these policies and regulations, these systems and any part thereof shall be referred to as the Systems. The Systems are provided for the use of District students, faculty, and staff in support of the educational programs of the colleges and are to be used for such related activities only. Commercial uses of the Systems are prohibited. All students, faculty and staff are responsible for ensuring that the Systems are used in an effective, efficient, ethical, and lawful manner.

8810 Purpose and Definitions
1.1 The District owns and operates a variety of computer systems and related equipment intended for administrative purposes. For purposes of these policies and regulations, these systems and any part thereof shall be referred to as the Systems. The Systems are provided for the use of District staff in support of the programs of the colleges and are to be used for such related activities only. Commercial uses of the Systems are prohibited. All staff are responsible for ensuring that the Systems are used in an effective, efficient, ethical, and lawful manner.
1.2 It is the intent of these policies and regulations to define acceptable use of the Systems. Unacceptable use is prohibited, and may be grounds for loss of computing privileges, as well as prosecution under Federal, State and local law.
