INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PLANS
The college’s strategic planning system incorporates information technology planning at a number of levels:
- Program Plans – an annual plan that outlines collegewide information technology objectives to support college goals. This plan incorporates college goals, objectives, outcome measures, resource requirements, and assigns responsible parties.
- Resource Allocation Plan – describes the procedures and guidelines to be used in requesting new IT resources as well as the processes associated with the computer replacement cycle.
- Unit plan – describes the specific objectives of the IT department in the coming year.
- Resource request – describes those resources needed to support the achievement of IT objectives as outlined in the unit plan.
