The Sacramento City College (SCC) Fact Book was created by the Planning, Research & Institutional Effectiveness office in fiscal year 2000-01 as a web-based resource for current and trend data on SCC student characteristics, outcomes, and course offerings. In 2006 the PRIE office created the College Planning Data website that contains the same data on our students as well as additional data.
Now, because the College Planning Data website contains a broad array of data, including all data from the SCC Fact Book, in fiscal year 2011-12 we are combining the data from the SCC Fact Book into the College Planning Data website.
The SCC Fact Book website will remain as an archive of past Fact Books in its same location (see left menu bar of this page), however the most current data beginning in fiscal year 2011-12 can now be found on the College Planning Data website.
The source for the data provided in the Fact Book is the Los Rios Community College District (LRCCD) student files and schedule files. (Note: the source file is listed at the bottom of each data page.)
