FTP information:
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocal and is the protocal many web sites, including SCC, use to move web pages from local computers to web servers. Please contact Computer Services to find out what ftp software is available on campus and for installation of FTP software on your SCC computer.

When you first start up your FTP software you will be asked for several things.

Host name(host address, address, IP, ftp server, etc...): www.scc.losrios.edu

login(user ID, user name, etc...): your SCC web account name

password: use the password that you chose or were assigned when you had your web account created
