The new Student Services Building was officially opened to the public on Friday morning.
About 125 people Joined in the celebration as we dedicated the newest building on Sac City’s campus. The event included a ribbon cutting ceremony, light refreshments and tours.
The building houses various Student Services functions, including Admissions & Records, DSPS, and Assessment. On the second floor, the Photography and Journalism departments will take residence in swanky new classrooms and labs.
In addition, the lobby was dedicated to the memory of the parents of one of our foundation donors, whose generous philanthropy to Sac City has allowed many of our students to attend college for free. The donor was Mrs. Carol Spurgeon, whose parents met at Sac City back in the 1930s.
Thanks for making our celebration a special day.
