City Softball Sweeps Siskiyous with Their 10th Inning Victory

In Game One against Siskiyous, the Panthers were able to win a 1-0 shutout despite getting ten hits in the game Thursday, March 16. Pitcher, Angelica Dark, pitched a five hit shutout with six strikeouts in the win. Second Base, Taylor Fratto, was 2-4 and scored the only run in the game. Center Field, Sydney Craft, went 3-4 and First Base, Marissa Rocha, was 2-3 at the plate as well.

Finishing strong in Game two, Sac City hit the ball pretty well with 6 hits total and won 3-2 to sweep the doubleheader against Siskiyous in ten innings. The Panthers trailed 2-1 until the fifth inning before tying the game at 2-2 and then eventually finalize the comeback win in the tenth inning.

Angelica Dark secured another pitching win on the season with a two strikeout performance. Angelica Dark also went 2-4 at the plate. Reyna Garcia went 2-5 with one run scored, Center Field Sydney Craft was 1-4 with one run scored and Cara McClinton scored a run as well.
