Business & Computer Information Science Division

Who We Are

The Business & Computer Information Science Division at Sacramento City College includes disciplines in both business and computer information science.  Our faculty have years of industry experience working in their fields.  This translates into a real-world experience for students in the classroom.  There is perhaps no better place in Sacramento to obtain a quality education.  And there is certainly no place that provides a better value.

What We Do

Our programs prepare students to think critically, analytically, and creatively in an increasingly diverse environment.  Students gain the background required for an array of career options in industry by studying in one or more of our programs.  These courses of study prepare students to transfer into a Bachelor’s Degree program, to enter directly into industry with an Associate Degree or Career Certificate, or to update skills to directly apply to careers or personal lives.  Most of the courses we offer are transferable to CSU and/or UC.  We also offer several courses that count toward SCC General Education requirements for your degree.

Why We’re Here

We’re here to help you find the right program, delivery method, and schedule to launch you into the degree of your choice or to enhance the skills you’ve already achieved.
