Do you enjoy helping other students? Do you want to strengthen your own leadership skills? Do you love to network? Would you like to work directly with SCC’s success coaches?

If yes, then keep reading!

Peer Leaders will be a big part of both Sacramento City College’s City 101 summer bridge program and the new City Connections FYE. These programs prepare first year students in making a smooth transition from high school into college. The program peer leaders will act as guides and coaches for these entering students by providing them with information about college life, campus resources, and success in school.

Peer Leaders must be enrolled in at least 6 units at SCC, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8, and be able to commit for an entire year. For the application, along with additional requirements and a job description please stop by the Information Counter in the Student Services Building.

Deadline for applications is Thursday, April 19, by 5 p.m.
