Reading Lab

The Reading Lab houses ENGLB 55 Individualized Reading Skills, a credit (.5-2 Units)/no credit course with its own text and computer practice materials provided in the Lab.

The Lab is designed primarily to support students in four levels of Reading classes. It offers practice in all areas of reading comprehension and vocabulary development.

Tutors are available to provide one-on-one help to students as they work on their Lab practice work.

Spring 2018

Every Friday from 8 am to 11:15 am, the Reading Lab hosts an Open Lab during which students may bring in their textbooks and homework to receive reading assistance (i.e., one-on-one drop-in tutoring).

Note to ENGLB 55 students: time spent working on homework does not count toward Reading Lab hours.

The Reading Lab is closed until the third week of the Spring 2018 semester.
