The Sacramento City College Geography Department provides a broad spectrum of courses with emphasis in physical, human and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The primary courses are:
- Introductory Physical Geography
- Physical Geography Laboratory
- Cultural Geography
These courses give our students an excellent introduction to the discipline and are transferable to most four year institutions.
In addition, the Geography Department offers three Geographic Information Systems (GIS) courses that examine the theoretical and desktop applications of this emerging discipline.
Other courses include World Regional Geography, Global Climate Change, Introduction to Oceanography and Field Studies.
