Database Access and Library Records for New & Adjunct Faculty

Make sure you have the access you need.

While you are on-campus, library databases do not require you to sign in. When you are off-campus, sign in using the same credentials you use for email, Socrates, etc.

Off-campus access varies for permanent and adjunct faculty. Permanent faculty have uninterrupted access during recesses. Access for adjunct faculty generally expires at the end of the term.

To request an book or other item through OneSearch, you must have an active library record. Library records are not automatically created for new faculty and staff or automatically reactivated for returning adjunct faculty. You can check whether you have a library record by trying to sign in to My Library Record. To establish a library record, please come to the Library or contact the Circulation Desk at 916-558-2301.
