Math Lab

The SCC Math Lab offers drop-in tutoring support in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics and a variety of other Math-related courses and pursuits. It is open to all students who are enrolled in 1 or more units at SCC.

We have awesome student and volunteer tutors who will assist you on your paths towards math excellence.  Swing by, enroll and start!  Whether you want assistance with basic skills math, algebra, statistics, calculus, linear algebra, trigonometry, geometry, or math as it factors into Chem, Physics, Business or Engineering, classes, we can guide you.  We can even tailor worksheets for you that help focus your studies on special topics, such as the order of operations or factoring, so you get additional practice in areas for which your confidence remains uncertain.  Please stop by and help us by helping you!

  • Math Lab Opens!   Tuesday, January 22nd
  • Lincoln’s birthday: Friday, February 15th
  • Washington’s birthday: Monday, February 18th
  • Spring Recess:  Monday, April 15th to Sunday, April 21st
  • Last day of regular classes: Thursday, May 15th
  • Final Exams: May 16th to 22nd – Math Lab closes early on May 22nd, otherwise open regular hours during Finals

Enrollment Course Code

Students must be enrolled in the Math Lab to use the services.  This process takes but a moment on your first visit, and allows us to ensure future generations of students receive tutoring.  By knowing the number of students and hours, and the various courses that require the most support, we can tailor our services towards you!
