What to Expect
When you arrive you will check in at the Assessment Center counter located in STS 140.
We screen all our registered students to see if they have completed an Orientation. Those who have not completed an Orientation will participate in the In Person Orientation prior to meeting with a staff member to create an Educational Plan.
In Person Orientation
For students that have not completed an Orientation: Students will participate in a 30 minute In Person Orientation that is focused on providing students with general information about our campus.
For students that have completed an Orientation: Students that have completed an Orientation will not be required to complete the In Person Orientation and will be one of the first students to meet with a staff member to create and Educational Plan.
For students that have completed an Orientation: You will meet with a staff member to complete your First Semester Educational Plan. If interested in a Campus Tour, notify the Assessment Center staff.
For students that have not completed an Orientation: Once you complete the In Person Orientation, you will be taken on a Campus Tour and brought back to the Assessment Center to meet with a staff member to complete your First Semester Educational Plan.
We truly appreciate supportive family and friends. However, space in our lab is limited and we will only be able to accommodate registered students.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be given credit for completion of the Orientation. Students will be notified of this policy and will be given information on how to complete the online orientation.
If you are not registered and arrive at the workshop, you will be placed on a waiting list, and will be one of the last students to be seen to create a first-semester educational plan.
