Robyn Waxman holds a degree in Visual Communication from the University of Delaware and a Masters of Fine Arts in Design from California College of the Arts. She is an award-winning designer and educator, currently practicing in San Francisco, Sacramento and Davis, CA.
Most recently, Robyn’s work focuses on design’s role to form community and to instigate social and environmental change. Several media outlets have recognized her design work, including Print Magazine, Communication Arts, the SFMOMA blog, Fast Company Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, and KPFA radio.
Robyn has taught at Sacramento City College since 1996, serving as the department chair for six years. She has lectured at TEDx, Artists and Art Director’s Club, the Art Institute of Sacramento, AIGA, California College of the Arts, Kent State University, UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis.
