Free dental services to the children of the SCC Child Development Center: teeth cleaning, sealants, interim therapeutic restorations, x-rays, fluoride, a full mouth exam by a dentist, referrals if necessary, and patient education.

This event has limited space. Please return the appropriate paperwork provided by the clinic that is available at the Child Development Center to reserve your child’s appointment time by October 1st.

Connecting high school students to SCC’s allied health programs through career stations that give students the opportunity to explore various health professions, participate in hands-on activities and demonstrations and interact with health care professionals. Programs include Registered and Vocational Nursing, Simulation Lab, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Dental Assisting and Hygiene. Hosted by Science and Allied Health.

Anthropology Exposition

The Anthropology Exposition will celebrate the history of Sacramento City College by honoring the origins and accomplishments of the Anthropology program from the earliest days of the college. The event will have interactive educational displays hosted by Anthropology clubs, agencies, and departments from all over Northern California. There will also be several guest speakers presenting research on primates, prehistory, and early anthropology at SCC.

The mural represents the passing and changes of a hundred years for Sacramento City College broken into three sections—Sepia, Black & White, and full color. Each section is a specific a key historic part of SCC history portrayed by the artist. The overall mural shows the progress and success the campus has made while remembering our roots.
