We aim to make an education and career in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) a feasible reality for all curious and interested students.
For anyone who has ever considered a future in one of these subjects, we want to support your goal and help create a community with like-minded students on our campus. Throughout the semester, we will host various events to gather and engage students in STEM-related activities. More information on our upcoming events can be located on our Calendar, and we will be posting related information, as well as STEM opportunities among the other tabs on this page.
Take a Pause every Wednesday, from 12:30 – 2:00 pm. There will be free coffee in LRC-120 for students who want to stop by to hang out for a minute, to study with peers, or to challenge one of our student assistants to a game of chess (or another brain-stimulating game).
“Come Get Your Scores”
February 15th at noon we will be sharing with students their STEM-ulation Assessment scores and providing helpful suggestions as to their next moves.
Lunch & Learn
April 21st from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm there will be a morning of coffee and chatting with a STEM professional, as well as tours of various labs on campus and hands-on experiments.
