The University of California created this guide to assist students with the application process.
Download the Transfer Application Guide for helpful tips about filling out the application. The guide will provide information on creating an account, selecting campuses and majors, entering your academic history, and listing activities and awards.
The UC also requires that applicants answer Personal Insight Questions. There are four questions: one is required and three are your choice. The UC designed a worksheet to help you get started on your answers.
Important: The UC states that “You should enter all courses taken even if you believe that they are not transferable, you don’t want credit for them, you don’t believe that the “old grades” are reflective of your current academic abilities, you received an Academic Renewal (AR) or Incomplete (I) grade, you withdrew from the course, or you later repeated the course.”
