Counseling Services We Provide

Academic Counseling Services

Counselors help to clarify and plan your academic goals.

We can assist with:

  •  information about certificates, associate degrees, and/or transfer options
  • an educational plan (iSEP) that charts your educational path
  • the requirements for General Education, Admission, and Majors for transfer to universities

Career Counseling Services

A career goal should be based on your own unique interests, personal values, aptitude, and life experiences. You and your counselor can explore and select the best major and career goal for you.

Resources and workshops in the Career Center are highly recommended.

Personal Counseling Services

We recognize that life does not always run smoothly. Going to school and dealing with obstacles that sometimes get in the way, can be a stressful experience.

Counselors provide confidential, short-term, non-therapeutic counseling.

Crisis services are available to students who are experiencing acute emotional distress and require immediate attention.  For assistance, please come directly to the Counseling Center, RN 147 in Rodda North, first floor.

If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency when the department is closed, please call 911.
