Welcome to the Spring 2020 session at the Davis Center!
Information specific to the Davis Center can be found on the site toolbar (the red bar above). College-wide information is found in the main menu at the top of the page. We hope you will enjoy the new look and also find it easier to navigate!
The Davis Center got its start back in 1966, when we first offered Sacramento City College (SCC) classes in the city of Davis, using Holmes Junior High and the First Southern Baptist Church. In 1989, we moved to a small building on B Street that was dedicated to our school. As the program grew, we needed more space, so in 2001 we moved to our South Davis location on Galileo Court, which gave us more space in a convenient location. In January 2012, we moved to a brand new facility, double the size of the previous building, located in UCD’s West Village. In phase two of our development, a science building is scheduled to open in August 2018 to greatly expand the amount of science courses we can offer to the local community.
